Nokia's parent company, HMD Global, is expected to release a Flagship Nokia Smartphone in the near future. According to a report from ITHome, Nokia is working on a 5G flagship handset that will be unveiled in China on 11th November 2021 during Singles' Day, a major shopping occasion in the country.
The assertion is backed up by Zhang Yucheng, HMD Global's Product Manager for Nokia Mobile Phones in China, who apparently stated the same during a Weibo interaction with consumers.
Nokia hasn't released many flagship smartphones since becoming a part of HMD Global. The same may be stated for the company that will be releasing 5G gadgets. Nokia's first 5G smartphone, the Nokia 8.3 5G, has yet to be released in China.
According to reports, the company has been working on a new flagship smartphone for some time. HMD Global was supposed to introduce the Nokia 9.3 PureView smartphone, however the company has yet to do so.
HMD Global has also introduced the Nokia G20 in India. The smartphone has a quad-camera system and a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone, according to Nokia, can survive up to three days on a single charge.
The octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage power the dual SIM smartphone. A microSD card can be used to expand the storage (up to 512GB). Nokia promises two years of upgrades for the Nokia G20, which runs Android 11.
The sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option of the Nokia G20 will cost Rs 12,999. The smartphone is available in two colour schemes: Glacier and Night.
